Group practice currently has immediate openings. For the past 13 years I have had the privilege of working with the youth, adolescents and adults of the Hudson valley. My specialties include behavior problems in young children, couples counseling, family therapy and anxiety and depression suffered by all ages. My dream is that one day going to therapy will be as common when you are struggling emotionally as it is to see a doctor when you have a sore throat. Everyone deserves to live their best life.
My clinical focus is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, utilizing some aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Structural Family therapy. I am trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy as well by a master trainer. Family therapy and family dynamics have been a constant focus of my clinical career. Also trained in Internal Family Systems.
Change is possible. Discomfort can be a good thing and helps us to change, we just need to create discomfort with compassion.
