I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in VA and NC with over 20 years' experience in the mental health field. I draw from a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches and am a SE Practitioner, integrating the mind/body/emotion connection, where we can get stuck at the intersection of verbal and nonverbal healing, especially where it relates to trauma.
My approach to working with clients is to bring compassion, kindness and a non-judgmental approach to the therapeutic process. I have a strong commitment to working with clients in a trauma-informed, person-centered, strength-based approach that helps them see and utilize their strengths and talents, rather than only focusing on the challenges.
