Many of the people I work with are carrying anxiety, sadness, family or cultural pressures, or patterns that keep resurfacing. They want a space where they can exhale, feel understood, and explore the roots of what they’re experiencing. As a Black/African American clinician, I bring both personal and professional insight into working with identity, culture, and systemic stressors. I specialize in affirming and empowering Black, Latine/a/x, Indigenous, AAPI, and other People of Color, as well as LGBTQIA+ communities. I provide grounded, collaborative support that helps people feel more connected, confident, and true to themselves.
I offer a grounded, culturally humble space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and the patterns shaped by your history and relationships. Using psychodynamic, ACT, CBT, and mindfulness‑based approaches, I help you understand what you’re experiencing and build the clarity, skills, and confidence to move forward.
I want therapy to feel like a place where you can finally exhale. You don’t need perfect words or a polished story. You can ramble, rethink things, laugh, swear a little, or sit quietly and gather your thoughts. All of that is welcome here, and if you’re ready for support, I’m here to begin that work with you.
