I am a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) and a Post-Master's level therapist under supervision working toward LPCC licensure. Major life changes, whether from loss of a loved one, career changes, chronic health concerns, or recovery from substance use for yourself or a family member can be difficult. Or maybe there is a feeling of being disconnected from meaning and purpose in your life and your are not sure why. Finding a trusted individual that you can share and explore ways of managing these challenges can be transformative in helping you move towards creating a renewed sense of well-being.
I believe healing begins with a sense of safety — both in our external environment and within our own nervous system. My practice is grounded in Polyvagal Theory, which helps us understand how the body responds to stress, trauma, and connection. When we feel safe, we can access curiosity, compassion, and lasting change.
Finding the right therapeutic relationship is one of the most important elements in the effectiveness of therapy. We are not meant to navigate difficult times alone. Reach out if you want to explore working together, I am here to help. Availability evenings and Saturdays.
