About
I believe that people are working as hard as they can in their lives and yet, sometimes, there is a need for outside support in finding and making the right changes to improve the quality of one's life. This change can be in the form of learning new coping skills, improving relationships or changing unhelpful thought processes that get in the way of enjoying life. I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate approach that utilizes multiple treatment modalities. I believe it is most important to work together as a team to find the right treatment approach, or combination of approaches, for each individual or family.
I have a variety of experiences that include working with young children, school age children, teens and their families through individual and family therapy, and parenting support.
I also have experience working with people struggling with chronic health issues, including cancer and cancer treatment. Additionally, I have experience in supporting individuals with terminal illness, as well as providing grief support to family and friends who have lost a loved one.
