People sometimes have a hard time getting through troubles alone. Depression, anxiety or trauma can keep you from living fully. Relationships may be full of conflict. It can be hard to find the trust to try.
I believe there's something valuable about all the different sides of yourself. For example, wounds can be protected by your adult side, and self criticism can turn into an inner teacher.
Often people struggle with relationships. When you learn skillful ways of expressing emotions and listening, your relationships become much more satisfying. One of my specialties is couples counseling; I offer a workshop for couples.
The heart of therapy is listening. Listening deeply helps emotions to keep moving instead of turning into depression or anxiety. Witnessing yourself and using your adult wisdom and compassion guide you.
I use DBT, narrative, and Internal Family Systems therapies. These are evidence based and support each other.

Couple's Workshop
This is a one day workshop. Couples will learn practical communication skills like allowing emotions and listening. They will practice skills with each other in the workshop and leave with a plan which fits their particular relationship.
