Many athletes experience high levels of burn out, defeat, negative thought cycles, and performance slumps. Over the past 10 years I have perfected the specialized counseling that I offer to athletes of all ages. I work with youth and adults who struggle with performance anxiety and panic symptoms that interfere with sports goals. I blend specialized cognitive behavior therapy skills, brain spotting, and sports hypnosis into a customized treatment approach.
I am trained in EMDR and Brain Spotting which are effective in treating physical or emotional traumas that are the root cause of sports performance problems. I am certified in sports hypnosis which allows me to create custom performance scripts for athletes that come to me for help. Many athletes make progress in only 3-5 sessions.
Traditional therapy, books, and workbooks can fall short, contributing to athletes feeling stuck and hopeless. To get over slumps, choking, freezing, and hesitating, athletes must release the sports traumas that are stuck in the brain. My method allows clients to release the negative memories, restore positive mindset, and build a blueprint for success.
