Building a strong rapport with my clients to feel safe, comfortable, accepted, empowered, and heard within our sessions is most important. I love to incorporate the arts and foster creativity within my sessions. I have a M.S. degree in Elementary/Secondary School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before working in the private practice setting, I was a Middle and High School Counselor in the West Chester area. Within my 9 years of work, I have helped many of my clients be successful while implementing academic, social/emotional, and behavioral interventions for their mental health treatment plans.
I have been working in the Psychology field since 2015. I have worked in a variety of professional positions. These positions include Therapeutic Support Staff, Music Therapist Assistant with Veterans, Ability Specialist at the YMCA, and as a Learning Support and Emotional Support Edu Assistant in Central Bucks School District.
My counseling approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I focus on changing negative thoughts/behaviors, improve emotional regulation, and develop coping strategies. I work with clients through play, music, and art therapy techniques. I provide nonjudgmental support, warmth, advocacy, empathy, resiliency skills, and self-empowerment to help you find success.
