About
I turned my therapy office into a jungle oasis for my clients’ to escape and feel safe, comfortable, accepted, empowered, and heard. I love to incorporate the arts and foster creativity in my therapy work. I have my M.S. degree in Elementary/Secondary School Counseling and in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am certified to work with kids and adolescents from PK-12. I have worked as both a Middle and High School Counselor in West Chester. I have helped my clients within their homes, schools, and communities, to implement academic, social/emotional, and behavioral interventions for their mental health treatment plans.
I have been working in the Psychology field since 2015. I have worked in a variety of professional positions. These positions include Behavioral Support Staff, Therapeutic Support Staff, Music Therapist Assistant with the Veterans, Ability Specialist at the YMCA, and as a Learning Support and Emotional Support Edu Assistant in Central Bucks School District.
My counseling approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I focus on changing negative thoughts/behaviors, improve emotional regulation, and develop coping strategies. I work with clients through play, music, and art therapy techniques. I provide nonjudgmental support, warmth, advocacy, empathy, resiliency skills, and self-empowerment to help you find success.
