Hi, there - I'm glad you're in the process of finding a therapist! Here is a bit about me to help you decide if we might be a good fit.
I'm passionate about working with folks experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, a strained relationship with food or body image, health anxiety, perfectionism, self-worth issues, and other life stressors that may be getting in the way of living a fulfilling life. I have experience in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient and higher levels of care. I am trauma informed, culturally sensitive, Health at Every Size aligned, and an LGBTQ+ ally.
My therapeutic style is empowering clients to gain insight and process emotional experiences, grow their coping skills, and make changes that are aligned with their desires and values. Clients who choose to work with me can expect a compassionate environment where they can show up as their authentic selves without judgement, while being gently challenged.
