Early experiences shape our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world at large. Having trained to work with both children and adults, I offer a greater awareness of how these experiences have impacted people throughout their lifetimes, and how they continue to influence relationships, mood, and functioning into adulthood. At times, we all experience feeling "stuck" due to these long-held beliefs and expectations. I provide support and guidance while you learn about yourself, and where these "stuck" places have originated, so that you can move forward with greater self-awareness and self-compassion.
I use an integrative approach including practical tools for immediate relief, as well as exploration of past experiences and their current impact on mood and functioning. My approach is that of a partner in our work, rather than someone who has all the answers. I offer my knowledge, and hope to create a safe relationship to assist you in meeting your goals.
