I am ready to help individual adults, couples, and children (ages 8+) improve their mental health! My skills lie in helping clients improve communication skills and increase healthy coping to manage anxiety, depression, historical trauma, substance abuse, and personality issues. I view the therapeutic relationship as essential to facilitate this change; whether this is your first time seeking counseling services or you've been through a number of providers trying to find your 'fit,' I will work hard to help you feel comfortable and safe as you progress in therapy using transparency, humor, and reflective feedback.
I use cognitive behavioral, family systems, Adlerian, and play therapy interventions to address mental and environmental barriers to change. I am proficient in treating substance use disorders and completing ASAM-compliant assessments, which are acceptable for residential treatment referral if necessary and often meet requirements for legal obligation/DHS.
I am passionate about the power of counseling and remain up-to-date on treatment modalities in order to provide informed, ethical, and effective treatment. I offer in-person and telehealth appointments Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. I am excited to meet you and work with you toward accomplishing your goals!
