Although life can be confusing, difficult, and overwhelming, I believe no person is broken; but rather maneuvering the journey of the human experience. Each individual is capable of growth but may need some support and guidance along the way. While pursuing my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Social Psychology from Ball State University, I gained experience in a practicum clinic and hospital setting, working with those experiencing difficulties with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships.
Recognizing each unique experience, I aim to be culturally aware and affirming to create a safe space where all feel welcome. My therapeutic style is client-centered, collaborative, empathetic, and goal-oriented. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness.
