Hello & Welcome! I’m Kiandra Daniels, a Texas therapist passionate about providing culturally competent therapy for Black individuals, couples, and families. I founded Color Wheel Therapy in 2020 with the mission of improving Black mental health access and creating a safe, affirming space for healing. With experience in individual therapy, family and couples therapy, inpatient care, and intensive outpatient settings, I specialize in helping Black teens and adults (ages 16-65) navigate high-functioning anxiety, depression, identity struggles, grief, life transitions, relationships, trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, and cultural challenges.

My approach is trauma-informed, systemic, collaborative, and integrative based on your unique needs, incorporating evidence-based techniques such as DBT and experiential to help you heal and thrive. More than anything, I want to reduce the stigma around Black mental health and empower my clients to embrace growth, self-awareness, and emotional wellness.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy creating art, music, visiting museums, going to concerts, traveling, real estate, trying new foods, strength training, and spending time with my loved ones, including my sweet pup Lavish! My favorite mottos/affirmations: -Be scared, and do it anyway. -My best can look different every day. -Everyone understands art differently.
