Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Maine, RI, and MA. I began my educational journey by earning my BSW from RI College and then proceeded to receive my MSW from Simmons College. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a multitude of settings, including inpatient hospitalizations, residential treatment programs, and correctional facilities. I have experience working with those who struggle with a multitude of mental health challenges, including but not limited to PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, acceptance, and substance use disorders.
To best address the unique needs of clients, I have educated myself in multiple evidence-based intervention styles, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Approaches, Strengths-Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I understand how difficult it can be to seek help, especially when we may deem ourselves unworthy of such help. However, through establishing a safe, supportive, collaborative, and therapeutic relationship, we can work together to find your voice, identify your needs and goals, and work towards a journey of positive change and an improved quality of life.
