I love couples, in the good times and the hard times, I am here to support and celebrate you. I approach marriage with a Christian worldview that makes space for your personal history with faith. I don't take sides, I am here to help you both be heard. The foundation of my practice is to work on improved communication and creating shared vision between you and your partner. I also have experience in cross-cultural relationships. I look forward to hearing from you!
I practice Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), which means I am looking not just for how the problem is impacting you and your marriage, but where it came from in the first place. In conjunction with EFT I apply the Gottman Method which uses decades of research to create data rich assessments that pinpoint exactly where your marriage has the opportunity to grow.
I have been in a bi-racial marriage for more than ten years, so the tools and principles I offer are more than just an education, they have been tested in my own life. My husband and I have three young children together, so you can bet that the hope, humor, and wisdom I bring to our sessions will be freshly refined in our marriage and parenting efforts.
