Using Anime & Manga to Explore Mental Health

This mental health group uses anime and manga to explore and understand mental health issues in a safe, supportive environment for teenagers. Participants engage in weekly sessions where they watch selected anime episodes or movies with relevant themes, opening discussions and encouraging reflection and connection to personal experiences. The group aims to promote resilience, empathy, and the importance of mental well-being, and is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all teens, regardless of their familiarity with anime.
