About
I specialize in helping Black Athletes heal from trauma to create and maintain healthy relationships and to break generational and systemic cycles. Trauma can show up in and out of your sport in a variety of ways, like mentally not being in the game, experiencing frustration with your athletic performance, having difficulty preparing for transition in or from your sport, feeling unsure about what's holding you back from enduring and winning, and in not having the beliefs to reach your goals. You are more than an athlete and often difficulties in sports can show up in your relationships, family, and interactions, and vice versa.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Sports Counseling, I serve to help Black Athletes reach and maintain emotional, mental, and relational wellness. I help you confront internal and external opponents as you strive to win in all areas of your life. I assist my clients through individual, couple, family therapy, and/or team consultation.
I honor my client's autonomy to create better, to strive for more, and to grow and become not just in the offseason, but All-Season! I offer free, initial 15-minute phone consultations. Contact me if you are ready to be intentional about healing to win beyond!
