I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University, and, with my Bachelor's degree in Spanish, I want to utilize my bilingualism in working with Spanish-speaking clients. I have the passion of working with children who are experiencing life transitions, difficult situations, or environmental stressors that cannot be processed in traditional talk therapy but instead by practicing the use of play in a therapeutic setting.
Taking on an integrative approach of meeting the client where they are at, acknowledging any barriers, and working alongside the client in their journey for where they see themselves in the now to the future.
It is easy to see how hard things can be at the start of therapy, but it is the journey along the way that learning who you were at the beginning is a different version of you after you take that first step.
