My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in culture and safety heling you heal from trauma or parent your littles ones. I'm also a part of our parent-child interaction therapy team where I work with parents to help them build even stronger, more connected relationships with their children, or even to help navigate some behaviors that might be a little bit challenging. So, whether you are looking to heal from trauma, wanting to learn how to set boundaries, or just looking for strategies to feel more grounded, I am going to work with you to create a space that feels supportive and safe.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in culture and safety. I use EMDR, play therapy, PCIT, expressive therapies, and somatic tools to work with you or maybe your child, to help to tap into your strengths and feel seen without judgment.
I'm a Black licensed graduate professional counselor at PlayfulLeigh Psyched. I work with intention with families, children, and adults who may be experiencing intense emotions, navigating generational wounds, or just wanting to feel more connected with themselves and the people around them.
