If desired, I am able to utilize Christian counseling in our sessions as another form of support.

I hold a BS in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I am fully trained in EMDR. I also utilize techniques from CBT, DBT, and IFS. My approach to therapy is collaborative. You are free to provide me with any feedback to ensure your therapy journey is effective.

I often use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with my clients. EMDR is proven to reduce the distress associated with traumatic memories. With EMDR, we will identify negative beliefs that were associated with traumatic experiences and replace them with adaptive beliefs. I also utilize many skills from DBT to equip you to cope with upsetting emotions as they arise.
