I love using meditation to remember how interconnected we are as humans and how connected we are with nature. We would learn to honor how trauma appears in the body and slowly work to release that. We would understand to notice anxiety and anxiousness without judging it. I love holding space for people that want to work on anxiety disorders.
Deciding to come to therapy is a hard one. You essentially agree to be challenged, to relive your trauma, and to give your anxieties over to someone else to hold. These things come with time and only after forming a trusting relationship. You're encouraged to give me input on what you would like more of and less of.
