I use an EFT frame & eclectic approach to therapy that involves ongoing connection, listening, and probing to determine the next best step toward meeting the client’s desired outcomes. I enjoy helping couples experience greater connection, intimacy, communication, and ways of relating by learning strategies to navigate through the destructive cycles that create frustration for them. My approach with families helps to empower them to manage their challenges with parenting, life cycle changes, and other life stressors. I'm acquainted with issues bringing clients to therapy, and committed to leading them toward better days and relief!
My experience includes over 27 years of marriage that informs my work with couples; facilitating couples retreats and trainings; 15 years as a special education teacher of students with a variety of developmental disabilities as well as community outreach which allows me the ability to relate to every kind of person and meet them right where they are.
Because my systemic approach deals with the functioning of all families/organizations, I provide employee relations training for corporations and companies that result in improved production and profits.
