Keyah Seedanee
Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, LPC
I believe that every individual needs the opportunity to work through their thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space. I strive to provide this opportunity for every client that I work with. I thoroughly enjoy working one-on-one with clients to help them achieve their goals. My primary goal is to empower the client to overcome their personal obstacles and thrive. When it comes to serving families, I aim towards meeting the needs of each individual and finding a common family goal.
I am passionate about seeing my clients succeed. As a certified TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) Practitioner and Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) provider, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), TBRI and play therapy interventions. However, I tailor therapy services based on the needs of the clients.
Life happens! We are all humans and it is completely okay to "not be ok." I specialize in counseling in the following areas: parenting, stress management, anxiety, depression, anger management, life skills, trauma, foster care/adoption transitions, communication and family dynamics. I am accepting children/adolescents ages 4 and up, adults and families.
