There is a further need to have a space that provides felt-safety, lacking in negative judgements where they are more comfortable to explore feelings and develop coping strategies. My clients typically have a desire to build resilience, enhance their self-awareness, and achieve a greater sense of balance.
Our sessions are casual in nature and are intended to feel more like a conversation between two people. I focus heavily on building a sense of rapport with my clients, providing felt safety and support, and improving their self-agency.
