About
I specialize in working with adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families as they pursue lifelong goals. I count it a privilege to assist people as they seek to grow towards their best quality of life. I provide a value-based approach to decision making and behavioral interventions while assisting people to experience positive change through the therapy process. I work with them to help recognize and develop a growth mindset focused on personal strengths. I acknowledge the need for human dignity and promote mental, emotional and spiritual well being.
I have of 20 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I specialize in working with adults and children with neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism Spectrum, Fetal Alcohol Effects, ADHD, and more). I have completed post graduate work and am certified to assist Adoptive and Foster Families.
I hold to a philosophy that people do well if they can, if they could do well they would do well. What ever situation you find yourself in is a very good place to start. I will work with you to build the skills to manage the challenges you face.
