People come to therapy because they feel stuck repeating patterns—in relationships, work, or substance use—that they don’t fully understand. Therapy can help uncover what’s driving those patterns and how to change them. Much of my work focuses on how addiction and emotional patterns affect relationships—whether that means helping someone change their relationship with substances, or helping couples rebuild trust and communication. I also offer in-home therapy for clients in Los Angeles who prefer the privacy and convenience of working in their own environment.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC), the highest addiction credential in California. I teach addiction studies at Pierce College, serve on the board of a statewide counselor certification organization CAADE, and am the recipient of a commendation from the County of Los Angeles for counseling.
My work integrates trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness, and Compassionate Inquiry training with Dr. Gabor Maté to help individuals and couples develop insight, emotional clarity, and lasting behavioral change.
