As a counselor, it is my honor to bear witness to your experience. Yours is the grand story; you are the author of your life. I can also be a mirror, helping you to see yourself and your life more clearly. Once you can see what you want to change, together we'll figure out how you can use your strengths to make it happen. I see each person as unique, with complex history and context, attending to ways that family, local, and cultural forces contribute to the maintenance of problems. I am trained in EMDR, accelerated resolution therapy (ART), narrative therapy, alcohol and drug counseling. We will choose an approach that best fits your concerns and level of investment.
I have experience working with indigenous persons, college students, people struggling with misuse of substances, and LGBTQ+ persons with a variety of concerns.
