About
A Bay Area native and 28 years of experience, I've predominantly worked in community based settings providing mental health support to marginalized youth and families impacted by trauma. In addition, I have experience supporting clients with depression, anxiety, grief loss, transitions, self-injurious behaviors, substance abuse, work stress, family and relationship issues and much more. I am committed to helping clients develop and trust their inherent capacities for healing through self-discovery, acceptance & compassion.
I identify as a therapist, BBS Supervisor, wellness practitioner, Leader, as well as, a child of a working class, dual parent, southern born African American Family. I am a two-time cancer survivor, husband, comedian, Christian, father, man of color and dedicated community servant.
I am committed to reducing the stigma around mental health in communities of color and focusing on men’s health issues. I am also motivated to add to the limited number of qualified male therapists to support men and men of color. Joining TriHealing is an exciting journey to support one client at a time with their growth to achieve their vision of healing
