Hi, I’m Kessonga. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and mindfulness-based therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and feeling stuck or disconnected. I also support emerging adults, including college students, as well as athletes at various levels, facing stress, identity, and performance pressures. You may appear to have it together, but internally feel overwhelmed or off. Therapy offers space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and rooted in mindfulness.
I help clients build emotional awareness, regulate their nervous system, and respond to life with more intention, reconnecting with the strength and resilience already within them. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy, while tailoring the work to fit you, not the other way around.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, including stress related to racism, and major life transitions, including what can feel like the “catastrophe of life.” I also enjoy working with men who are beginning to explore their emotional world in a more intentional way.
If you’re curious about therapy or ready to begin, I’d be glad to connect.
