About
I have been living and working in SF for 25 years and understand how challenging and rewarding it can be; it's important to find balance. Processing emotions, thoughts and experiences with a therapist can help you move through life with fluidity. I help people gain perspective on unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, to learn what your feelings have to say, and to define your personal system of meaning by looking compassionately at your relationship to your body, relationships and career. Authenticity is being at home in your body which allows you to express yourself clearly; studies show authenticity is closely linked to happiness.
My therapeutic style is integrative; informed by ACT, compassionate inquiry and solution focused therapy. I hope to help you change your awareness of difficult feelings to move toward goals that are in line with your values. Our work can help you connect with how to move toward a fuller version of yourself.
Covid-19 has been uniquely difficult for each of us. Too much time behind the screen can create an interpersonal barrier leading to deep loneliness. While I am offering zoom therapy, my preference is to meet in person, in my office with asymptomatic and vaccinated people. Therapy is an excellent tool to help reemerge with new goals, boundaries and energy.
