Treatment sessions are based on the unique individual needs presented by a child. By using paint, clay, movement to name a few modes of treatment I create a non threatening environment. Studies show that our brains are most receptive to new information when we are relaxed and having fun.
Art Therapy provides tools and strategies to families and kids. Art Therapy is about the PROCESS and not the PRODUCT of the session....no previous skill required. The combination of psychotherapy and creative arts create powerful interventions that create changes in behavior and create a better future.
