Hello and welcome! I’m Dr. Kerrin Sendrowitz O’Connor, a licensed psychologist based in New York and Wisconsin. I specialize in helping adults work through interpersonal difficulties, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep issues, and grief. I also love to work with expecting parents, new parents, and individuals navigating the challenges of fertility and parenthood. In therapy, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify patterns that may be preventing you from living the type of life you WANT to live.
I take a warm and approachable stance in therapy. While I offer guidance to help you create lasting change, I also aim to make our work feel like a partnership. You can expect an approach that combines tough love with humor and hope. My clients tell me they feel accepted for who they are, while also inspired to take action and make tangible improvements.
A strong, healthy relationship with mental health is key to living a fulfilling life, and I am deeply honored to help guide my clients toward greater well-being. I’d be honored to join you on your journey of self-discovery and growth. Together, we’ll work toward a future that brings you more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.

"
A strengths-based perspective is integral to my belief on how we make meaningful changes. Some psychological approaches I use in therapy include interpersonal therapy, cultural-relational and feminist theories, psychodynamic approaches, and humanistic therapy. However, to create more tangible action and change, I often times include tools based in DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
