Hello! I work primarily with adults and embrace a person-centered therapeutic style. I prefer it because I believe that individuals are the best experts on their experiences, and that as a therapist, I shouldn’t judge them but instead partner with them during their healing journey. I value empathy, vulnerability, "thinking outside of the box", and self-acceptance. Forgot what you were going to say in the middle of your sentence? You won't get any judgment from me. I support clients in listening to their own wisdom, exploring their life stories, and building on big and small victories alike. I love being a cheerleader!
I have experience supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, goal-setting and organization, and mindfulness, and have a professional focus of supporting survivors of religious trauma. As someone with lived experience in that arena, I strive to bring visibility and support to our population. You're not alone.
