Raising or supporting a child who is struggling emotionally, behaviorally, socially, or academically can feel overwhelming and exhausting. I work with children, adolescents, and families navigating behavioral challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, school-related difficulties, family stress, anxiety, depression, and self-harm concerns. I have a Master’s degree with an area of emphasis in children, youth, and families, and I am licensed in both New Jersey and Georgia.

I work closely with clients & caregivers to strengthen communication, improve emotional & behavioral regulation, and support growth both at home and at school. The goal of this virtual group is to provide support to individuals on the spectrum including learning about their diagnoses, improving social skills, and practicing strategies to overcome challenges and foster independence. Each session will have a different topic to focus on including respecting boundaries and personal space, maintaining relationships, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, increasing motivation, support with education, conversation skills, coping strategies, routines and accepting change. This virtual group aims to assist children with difficulty in social settings. The goal is to teach youth how to interact appropriately with others through instruction, role playing, practice, and feedback. Areas of focus include initiating and maintaining relationships, awareness of nonverbal expressions, coping strategies, expressing emotions, problem solving and changes in routine. Participants must be fully verbal. Treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Modeling, and Prompting amongst others. The group will take place monthly for an hour per session.
