By utilizing a client's interest in animals, the body's natural oxytocin release during animal-human interactions, and CBT techniques, counseling at Happy Tails is fun and effective.
At Happy Tails, you can expect a respite: a judgement-free place where you can take a breath and center yourself. Sometimes that means holding our therapy dog. Other times, it may mean teaching him new tricks. Don't be fooled though, what seems like silly activities are actually targeted interventions progressing you toward your treatment goals.
Life is hard enough. Getting to counseling and participating should be easy. Let's make this easy. Let me come to you: before school, during school, after school or even at your church or doctor's office. I will coordinate using the space and collaborate with schools for support where it's needed most.
