All of these issues may lead to anxiety, depression, or even substance use. I love working with clients igniting hope, believing no one is left to go through adversity alone. I'm a Licensed Counselor, Licensed Practical Nurse, Holistic life Coach, Certified Aroma Specialist, and Energy Healer, who enjoys working with people. My personal life experience with issues like trauma help me completely understand how you feel, which is important.

Finding hope when facing difficult life circumstances can be challenging, which is why taking the step to seek therapy is a courageous beginning. Trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, and/or depression, is preventing you from living your life. Even on good days, your negative self-talk beats you you up. Everyone can be hard on themselves. It’s exhausting trying to anticipate when these feelings will strike next. You can’t trust your own thoughts. It could be that your painful past or current stress isn’t going away on its own. And most days it takes more than that. Stuck in a vicious cycle with no end in sight, you know you can’t handle this alone anymore. Maybe since it happened, something very upsetting occurred, and it changed you. . But what choice do you have?

Welcome! I am Dr. Manda, a Licensed Pastoral Counselor in Kentucky. I have a Ph.D. in Pastoral Family Therapy and specialize in pastoral counseling and Psychotherapy. I am the author of Re-authoring Life Narratives After Trauma; and the Developer of a Holistic Narrative Model of Care, which integrates spiritual resources into a psychotherapy process to address the holistic needs of my clients. I work with clients to develop life skills and mindsets that overcome challenges in their lives, careers, and relationships.

I work with people who have experienced a wide range of challenges, including physical violence, emotional neglect, failed relationships, infidelity, chronic and addictive behaviors, feelings of "not-enoughness", shame, and guilt. I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and transform; I am here to help you on your journey. I believe that hurt not transformed will be passed on to others.
