Hey there! I'm Jackie and I am a LPCC-S and a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) in Bowling Green. I am exclusively working with partners who have experienced sexual betrayal trauma through their spouse's compulsive sexually acting out behavior (due to sex addiction, pornography usage, affairs, or other sexually acting out behaviors). I am also able to help assist in a Therapeutic Full Disclosure Process. When I'm not in my office I'm a Small Group Leader for the Healing for Partners Intensive at Bethesda Workshops in Nashville and can also be found as a Individual Intensive Guide at Onsite Workshops in the Nashville area.
Welcome. I am pleased that you are interested in finding out how our work together may be of help to you. If you are entering therapy for the first time, you may have some questions about how things will proceed. The first phase will be to learn what brings you in and what you would like to achieve from our work together. The second phase is the actual working phase of therapy, where you will be encouraged to explore your feelings and thoughts, try out new behaviors, actions, and skills, and gain new understanding into your inner strengths and challenges.
Working with Children, Teens, Adults, Families, and Groups is my passion. All people that struggle with anxiety, mood disorders, personality, attention , trauma issues, etc. The goal is to focus on the need of the client. My philosophy is to meet the client where they are, allowing for them to lead the treatment and trust me in moments where they feel stuck, to help them manage those moments and get themselves back to their true selves. I want my clients to feel empowered to believe in themselves and their ability conquer their goals in therapy, so that they can manage their lives.
Sometimes in life we are faced with issues that seem like we can not rise above them. Whether its a loss of a loved one, marital issues, depression, low self- esteem, anger, anxiety, drugs and alcohol or just stress. These are things that come up and put us in a place where we feel as if we have no point of return. Life can be challenging and hard but together we can come up with a plan by using the best therapeutic process, to get your life on the right track.
Fully booked at this time. Not accepting new clients. Albert Einstein once said "Children are our most valuable resource" and that is what drives my passion in working with young children and adolescents in therapy. As a parent, it can be difficult to know how and where to seek assistance when your child is struggling at school or at home. I can help your child in learning strategies so they can be their best self by targeting behavioral modification, social skill development, anxiety, depression, family issues, and major trauma.

Intervention Associates (IA) works with clients to achieve individual, couple and family healing from conflict, trauma, loss, and illness, such as, but not limited to, addiction to drugs and alcohol. What would your life be like if you woke up tomorrow and everything was just how you wanted it to be? What would be different? Therapy can help you identify and reach those goals. Whether your focus is individual, with your partner, or with a family member - the process can be beneficial and effective. My job is to help guide you through the choices, decisions, and communication patterns that are stopping you from making those improvements or changes. Therapy does not have to be intimidating or anxiety provoking. It can instead be an interactive, thought-provoking, learning experience.

Life is full of changes and sometimes we need additional emotional support in times of transition. Personal issues can make it very difficult for us to seek help and contemplating seeing a therapist is a difficult decision for many people dealing with the circumstances life creates. Sometimes once we have made the decision to seek help we have a hard time creating the time for therapy and self-care. Teletherapy video sessions are now offered to support those interested in investing in self-care from the comfort of their own environment including new parents experiencing anxiety, depression, fatigue, etc.
I help people of all ages figure out how to be most successful at work, at school, or in relationships. Many clients (or their parents) come to me feeling misunderstood or unheard by medical professionals and want guidance on how to live and feel better. It is my life's mission to equip people with the insight, tools, and supports needed to thrive as the best version of themselves.
As an eclectic therapist, I draw upon a broad set of clinical and life experiences to best meet the needs of my clients. I like to incorporate the unique strengths and knowledge brought to therapy by each individual, couple, and family who I work with. If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or individuals adapting to changes feel more in control of their symptoms. I see therapy as a collaborative process. I assist and collaborate with my clients to identify areas they are struggling with and seeking therapy but also help them identify areas that are already working well for them or doing well with. I see myself as the person to help guide and educate my clients with learning new skills that help them move towards their overall goals.
