I've been a therapist for over 45 years and thoroughly enjoy my work. I believe we all have 2 selves, a small self and a big Self. One is the voice for fear the other for love. We are listening to and acting from one or the other. The one we ultimately listen to determines our peace of mind, happiness and success.
I'm privileged to have worked in almost every arena of mental health from inpatient to outpatient, private to public, military to civilian; in schools with children, adolescents and adults, individuals, groups and families.
