About
Please visit my business website: www.wolfordcounseling.com
I am both a Licensed Professional Counselor(#C2212)and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#T0637) in the State of Oregon. I am often called 'down to earth' and 'realistic' by my current and past clients. this is my approach to therapy with Individuals, couples, families and youth. I concentrate on creating new, achievable goals with my clients. Communication and trust are at the heart of healthier relationships with oneself and with others and I have been effective in helping my clients find new levels of happiness and respect.
I concentrate on asking questions that help my clients look for strengths within their lives when they often can only see the problems plaguing them. When identified, these small, but not insignificant successes can be built upon to create larger more powerful positive interaction.
I find it important to look at mind/ body connection with my clients. It is crucial to consider diet and exercise as well as mental health in the overall treatment and change process.
