I am located in the state of Arkansas. I also work with telehealth patients in the states of Iowa and South Dakota. I use a client-centered approach to therapy to help you cultivate and foster perspectives/behaviors that promote well-being. Since 2015, I have worked with many patients focused on improving anxiety, depression, stress, and grief.
Most commonly, I use the therapeutic approach of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as it works well amongst the focus areas of depression, anxiety, and stress. I also use a solution-focused/Mindfulness approach to therapy to motivate clients to see the changes that are of the highest priority.
As a therapist, I create a safe, nonjudgmental environment to connect with clients who may be initially starting or re-establishing therapeutic services. It is important to me to have an open conversation when approaching mental health and the negative stigmas associated with getting help.
