Happiness and success are universal goals. Unfortunately, with all the stress and pressure placed on young people today, many children and adolescents have trouble maintaining hope that these lifelong dreams are attainable. I have spent my time working with the youth and empowering them to gain the tools and strategies needed to self-actualize, unlock their potential, and overcome their circumstances. I have helped guide young athletes who are learning to navigate the educational, social, and emotional aspects of sports. I have supported children caught in the juvenile justice, group home, and foster care systems.
My approach is straightforward and engaged. I view therapy as a collaborative effort to first understand the problem at hand, then plan and carry out actions to solve them. With a focus on goal setting and self-worth, I seek to promote long term positive change by establishing healthy patterns.
