As a mental health counselor, I specialize in working with clients in recovery from substance abuse disorder and helping them create their own unique vision of sobriety, whether that centers on abstinence or harm reduction. I am working toward accreditation as a certified substance abuse counselor (CSAC). I am also certified in the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM)’s Criteria to help clients develop comprehensive treatment plans and learn skills to promote remission and prevent relapse. I am also trained as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).
I counsel and support a variety of clients, each with unique strengths and struggles, from anxiety and depression to relational challenges and addiction. My integrated approach allows me to meet each client where they are. I have experience providing counseling services to adolescents and adults (ages 12 and up) struggling with mental health challenges.
