Developing social communication and assertiveness can help relieve anxiety, get your needs/rights met, and improve self esteem. You will develop these skills in various personalized ways including psycho-education, role playing, learning the actual words/behaviors of assertiveness. Your improvement may also include treating other mental challenges that get in your way such as anxiety, depression, trauma, shame, & OCD.
Autism in adults (a very underserved group) is another area I have expertise and been published in. Many professionals do not understand the complex and ways Autism presents and impacts in peoples' lives. My focus on treating the challenges of Autism include psycho-education, improving social/communication skills, and finding sources of purpose/meaning.
