Dr. Wise is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Frisco, Texas. He is a clinical assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Wise served for 7 years in the leadership of the Dallas Psychological Association culminating as President in 2010-2011. Dr. Wise has over 30 years experience working in the mental health field. He strongly believes that therapy is a cooperative process in which the therapist and patient work together for healing and change to occur.
Dr. Wise is a licensed psychologist who received his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Baylor University in 1995. He specializes in the areas of depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, chronic pain and health problems, divorce adjustment, and the treatment of children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional problems.
