Announcement icon I am currently working with clients online due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Finding a counselor you can develop trust in and who can assist you in coping, healing and growing can be difficult. To aid you in the decision of who to work with, here is some information about me and my practice. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are looking for a safe place to address issues they are struggling with. My practice is a safe place and I have the experience needed to help you address the issues you wish to deal with.
I work with individuals and couples dealing with life transitions, trauma, and parenting. Speciality areas include traumatic stress, marriage, parenting, and psychological assessment. I work with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and spiritual issues. I am also very experienced in working with first responders, military personnel, and ministry families.
I am well trained in the Gottman marital therapy method and am a certified trainer-of-trainers in Parent-Child Interactive Therapy-PCIT. I am a professor of clinical psychology in George Fox University's doctoral program, a clinical supervisor to many pre-licensed therapists, and I regularly provide community based talks on relationships and mental health.
