As a licensed professional counselor, I create a safe, accepting, and affirming environment for LGBTQ persons, other minorities, and those with intersectional identities and concerns. I am a strong and empowering advocate. I serve individuals and couples. My specialties are mental health, anxiety/depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, discrimination/oppression, substance use, gambling/gaming addiction, relationship conflict, and anger. I believe that everyone should have access to therapy like medical care.
Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental, and affirming response in all sessions. It is vitally important to establish trust and rapport with the client with reflective and empathetic listening, clarification, summary, and affirmation. I am a motivating, empowering, and enthusiastic individual. I fully accept that relapse is part of recovery.

Given my experience for 17 years with Community Mental Health, serving clients with moderate to severe mental health problems, trauma, and substance use/addictions.
