Thanks for wanting to get to know me because I want to get to know you too. Well to start, I got into the counseling profession because in high school I found classmates and strangers would naturally tell me their problems. Back then, I just listened because I did not have much life experience or knowledge on theories. So I dismissed from the idea of helping people because I did not think I was being much help by "just listening". However since that time, I have learned to understand and respect the power of listening; and I have had a few birthdays and gained life experiences along the way.

Additionally, I earned two degrees from Mercer University in counseling to be better equipped to help you. I truly believe how we think influence who we are and how we act. I also believe people can change if they can 1) admit the need and 2) be willing to let go of the old, push through fears and make room for something different.
