I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work degree from State University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University. I have experience providing mental health services to those who are struggling emotionally due to domestic violence, traumatic experiences, family conflict, and other external hardships. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults and adults, who have experienced mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, substance use disorders, adjustment issues, and stress management.
I uses evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Task-Centered model to help people meet their emotional wellness goals. I use a lens that is trauma informed, and strengths-based to understand the individual experience. I am also fluent in Spanish and I have a long history of working with diverse populations.
