About
Hi, I'm Kendyl (she/her) and I'm glad you found me here! I am passionate about supporting people who are struggling and want to feel better. I especially enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, people living with or affected by HIV and AIDS, and individuals experiencing infertility, pregnancy, and more. I also provide letters for gender-affirming medical care. I completed my Masters in Social Work degree in 2004 and became licensed in 2007. I strive to offer an affirming environment for ALL people, regardless of body size or ability, racial identity, gender identity, religion, relationship status, and sexual behavior.
I can help you feel more empowered, build resilience, develop coping strategies, strengthen your relationships, and more. My style is flexible and tends to draw heavily from cognitive-behavioral, narrative and person-centered techniques, but the specific strategies utilized are unique to each individual. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
It can be hard to set aside time for self-care, but you are worth it! It would be my honor to support you as you work to make positive changes in your life and I will do everything I can to make sure you feel heard and respected throughout our time together. ****My practice is full as of Sept. 2021. Inquire about expected future openings, if desired.****
